Man Arrested in Rassada For Selling Illegal Cigarettes and Baraku

Rassada –

A Thai man was arrested in Rassada after he was found selling illegal cigarettes and Baraku.

Officials from the Phuket Provincial Administrative Office told the Phuket Express that they received complaints from concerned citizens that a shop in Koh Sirey was selling illegal cigarettes. A search warrant was then issued by the Phuket Provincial Court.

On Monday (July 15th) officials raided the shop where they arrested a male suspect (his name and age were not released by authorities). Seized from him were illegal cigarettes and Baraku (amount of those items seized were also not revealed). He was taken to the Phuket City Police Station to face charges of violating the ban on the sale of any electronic cigarettes and vaping liquid products and also selling cigarettes on which duty had not been paid.
