Phuket Airport Holds Full-Scale Emergency Exercise

Phuket International Airport recently conducted a full-scale emergency exercise as part of its emergency preparedness plan.

The first chapter of the drill, focused on a flight accident (specifically a runway excursion), took place on Wednesday, July 10th. The exercise was initiated by Phuket Governor Sophon Suwannarat and airport director Mr. Monchai Tamod.

Mr. Monchai emphasized that the drill aims to enhance readiness for any emergency situation at the airport. Conducting full-scale exercises at least once every two years ensures the safety of passengers and customers.
