A Myanmar national has been arrested after allegedly touching a female passenger’s breast while riding a motorbike in Rawai.
The incident came to light this week when a female rider reported that earlier this month, she was riding with her female passenger on Soi Kok Makham in Rawai. A male Asian rider, approximately 30 years old, approached them and inappropriately touched the female passenger before speeding away.
The woman’s name was withheld for her privacy.
The female rider promptly filed a report with the Chalong Police, hoping for the suspect’s arrest.
On Thursday, July 11th, the Chalong Police apprehended Mr. A (alias), the Myanmar national, and took him into custody for further legal action.
Mr. A did not release a statement to the press.
