Fifteen People Rescued After Fishing Boat Capsizes Near Sarasin Bridge

Phuket –

Fifteen people have been rescued after a fishing boat capsized near the Sarasin Bride on Friday morning (July 5th).

The Royal Thai Navy Third Area Command was notified of the incident at 7:15 A.M. nine nautical miles from the Sarasin Bridge in Mai Khao, Thalang.

The fishing boat captain on the ‘Choke Chonlathorn 1’ boat reported that the boat engine and water pump were broken. Water had leaked into the boat because of strong wind and waves.

Fifteen people including the boat captain were waiting for help floating in the sea after their boat capsized. Another fishing boat rescued all 15 people safely.
