Intoxicated Foreigner Arrested After Causing Public Disturbance on Bangla Road

An intoxicated male foreigner was arrested after he caused a public nuisance near a hotel on the Bangla Road in Patong.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Monday (July 1st) they were notified of the incident in front of an alcohol shop that an intoxicated Caucasian foreigner was annoying tourists and local residents in the area. Police arrived at the scene to find the unidentified foreign man who was unable to control himself.

The suspect had also reportedly damaged a hotel’s door. He was taken to the Patong Police Station.

The Phuket Express noted police had not released the suspect’s name, age, or nationality as of press time.
