Egyptians, Pakistani and Russian Man Arrested for Overstay in Phuket

Phuket –

Two Egyptians, a Pakistani, and a Russian man were arrested in a Phuket overstay crackdown.

The Phuket Immigration Office told the Phuket Express that on Tuesday (July 2nd) they arrested four foreigners.

  1. MR. MOHAMED, Egyptian national (1,898 days overstay)
  2. MR. ZUBAIR, Pakistani national (1,734 days overstay)
  3. MR. HAITHAM, Egyptian (234 days overstay)
  4. MR. DMITRII, Russian (413 days overstay)

The Phuket Immigration told the Phuket Express that all four men are facing charges of overstaying their legal visa. Immigration officers have also warned accommodation operators on reporting stay of foreigners within 24 hours. Otherwise, they shall face legal actions too.
