He was later identified only as Mr. LUVOVADIO, 28, a Belgian national. Rest in Peace.
2. The Phuket Tourist Police apprehended a suspect identified only as Mr. Roman, a 29-year-old Russian national, in Kathu for working illegally.
The arrest came after he advertised paid motorbike riding lessons on Instagram, garnering positive reviews from foreign customers but negative feedback from Royal Thai Immigration officials who say he was not working legally.
The thief is still on the run as of the press time. Police are still unable to find them.
Trucks with more than ten wheels will be banned on every road in Phuket from 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. and from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. except on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays. It remains to be seen how well this policy will be enforced, with mixed feedback on social media.
Lifeguards told police that the female Russian was swimming outside the designated safety zone for swimming.
Over 1,500 people were negatively affected from the floods and cleanup efforts continue as of press time.
