2. A Russian man drowned at a beach in Thalang.
The bodies of a foreign man and a Thai woman were found at a beach in Thalang.
3. Four Indians and Four Russians Rescued at Phuket Beaches.
Four Indian Tourists and four Russian tourists have been rescued at Karon Beach and Patong Beach after ignoring red flags to notate no swimming.
4. Phuket Parade Festival Showcases Peranakan Culture and Competes for World’s Best Parade Award.
Mr. Sophon Suwannarat, the Governor of Phuket, along with relevant agencies and over 1,600 participants, led a grand parade along Phang Nga Road, Thalang Road, and Phuket Road, covering a distance of 1.2 kilometers.
5. Lifeguards on beaches in Phuket have warned of poisonous jellyfish.
Lifeguards on Karon Beach in Mueang Phuket and Bangtao Beach in Cherng Talay, Thalang reported this morning that they found many of the Portuguese man-of-war jellyfish during this recent monsoon season.
