A man has sustained injuries from an airsoft gunshot at Saphan Hin Public Park in Phuket Town.
The Phuket City Police were notified that a man had been injured on Friday (June 20th) at 10:50 P.M. at Saphan Hin in the Talad Yai sub-district. The injured man was taken to a nearby hospital. Police arrived at the hospital to find Mr. Sakdawut (age and full name was not given). He had sustained injuries to his left eye area.
Sakdawut told police he and two friends were at the Saphan Hin Public Park. There was a man on a motorbike wearing a full helmet who took out an item from a bag similar to an airsoft gun. The man then shot at Mr. Sakdawut.
Sakdawut told police that he believes he knows the suspect and that he and the suspect had a previous online issue. They made an appointment to talk at Saphan Hin but the incident did not go as he expected.
The Phuket City Police said they are hunting for the suspect and believe they have a solid lead to his location but did not release any further details as of press time.
