Man Arrested with 93 Methamphetamine Pills in Thalang

A man was arrested with 93 methamphetamine pills at a shopping mall in Thalang.

Officials from the Thalang District Office told the Phuket Express that on Monday (June 17th) they arrested a suspect identified only as Mr. Supphawat, 25, at a parking area in a shopping mall in Si Sunthorn. Seized from him were 93 methamphetamine pills, 124 illegal cigarettes, a motorbike, and a mobile phone.

He was taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of category 1 drugs with intent to sell and possession of unpaid tax cigarettes. Supphawat also tested positive with methamphetamine after riding a motorbike, according to the police.
