Russian Man Drowns at Phuket Beach

A Russian man drowned at a beach in Thalang.

Emergency responders were notified of the incident at the Surin Beach in Cherng Talay on Sunday (June 16th). They arrived at the beach to find a foreign man who was pulled up from the sea by lifeguards. He was rushed to the Thalang Hospital.

The Thalang Police told the Phuket Express that the foreign man was later identified only as Mr. ALEKSEI, 64, Russian national. A doctor later confirmed that the Russian man sadly died from drowning.
