The bodies of a foreign man and a Thai woman were found at a beach in Thalang on Monday (June 17th).
The Sakoo Police were notified of two bodies found at the Mai Khao Beach at 7:15 A.M. in the morning. Rescue workers arrived at the beach to find two bodies of a Thai woman and a foreign man at the shore.
The female body, who was wearing a bikini, was later identified only as a 49 year-old Thai woman from Surin. The male body, who was wearing swim shorts, was later identified only as a 45 year-old American national . I
It has been reported that there were red flags warning no swimming was allowed on the beach but the two deceased had apparently ignored the flags.
On the prior day, a Russian man also tragically drowned in Phuket.
