Patong –
A Myanmar man was arrested working illegally at a cannabis shop in Patong with many E-cigarettes seized.
Officials from the Phuket Provincial Administrative Office told the Phuket Express that on Friday (June 14th) they inspected a cannabis shop on the Ratch Uthit 200 Pi Road in Patong with a search warrant from the Phuket Provincial Court issued on Thursday (June 13th).
They arrested a Myanmar man at the shop who presented himself as a salesperson. The Phuket Express noted that officers did not reveal personal details of the Myanmar man. Seized from him were 482 E-cigarettes and 74 bottles of E-cigarette liquid.
He was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charge of violating the ban on the sale of any electronic cigarettes and vaping liquid products and working without legal permission.
