Five gamblers were arrested at a local gambling den in Patong.
The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they raided a local gambling den at a house on Sirirat Road. Five gamblers were arrested. Seized from them were a set of gambling cards and some cash.
The arrest came after police were notified by a concerned citizen about the hidden local gambling den. The unidentified suspects were taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of participating in illegal gambling.
