Patong-
A woman was arrested with 475 methamphetamine pills in Patong.
The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that this week they arrested a woman identified only as Ms. Somphon at a rental room in Patong. Seized from her were 475 methamphetamine pills and 2.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
The arrest came after the Patong Police received a tip-off that Ms. Somphon was selling illegal drugs in the area. Police operated a sting operation before arresting her. She was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of category 1 drugs with intent to sell.
