Koh Samui to Celebrate Pride Month throughout June

PRESS RELEASE:

Koh Samui is set to celebrate Pride Month with the PRIDE NATION SAMUI INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL, transforming the island into a vivid display of rainbow colors throughout June. The festivities kick off at Samui International Airport, greeting arriving tourists with a series of Pride-themed items. Key locations such as the baggage claim, check-in areas, and the central concourse fountain will be decorated to set the festive tone right from arrival.

Extending into the heart of the island, the Central Samui Mall, Chaweng street, and even pedestrian crossings will be decked out in rainbow colors, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere across the island. This decorative effort is set to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors.

The festivities will climax at PRU Chaweng Public Park, the main public park on Koh Samui, featuring a prominent PRIDE NATION SAMUI INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL check-in spot for the grand finale.

From June 24 to 29, PRIDE NATION WEEK offers fun yet meaningful activities, including Marriage Equality events and themed parties celebrating the Drag, Gay, and Queer communities. The week will also feature a Pride Sunset Parade and conclude with a grand music festival, drawing Pride participants from around the world.

The preceding is a press release from the Thai Government PR Department.
