Intoxicated Russian Man Disturbing the Peace at a Phuket Hotel Detained by the Karon Police

An intoxicated Russian man who was causing a scene and disturbing the peace at a Phuket hotel was stopped by the Karon Police.

The Karon Police was notified of the intoxicated foreign man screaming from a hotel balcony at 3:30 P.M. on Monday (June 3rd) at an unidentified hotel in Karon.

Upon arrival, The Phuket Express and Karon Police found the Russian man shouting from his balcony in his rented room, threatening to jump down. Police, along with a Russian interpreter, arrived at the rented hotel room located on the fifth floor. Police asked the Russian man to open the door but there was no answer.

The hotel staff used a spare key to unlock the door and the Russian man was found on the bed. Police easily arrested him because he appeared tired and confused after his previous shouting display. He was taken to the nearby police station for a drug test.

The name of the Russian man was not released by the Karon Police.
