Wichit Garage Owner Arrested for Firing Gunshots Under the Influence of Alcohol

In Wichit, a garage owner was apprehended after discharging firearms at his own establishment while under the influence of methamphetamine.

The incident was reported to the Wichit Police by a local resident at approximately 5:45 A.M. on Saturday, June 1st, at a garage located on Chao Fa East Road. Upon arrival, officers encountered the individual, who was exhibiting erratic behavior, including shouting and repeatedly entering and exiting the garage. He proceeded to fire shots both inside and outside the premises, prompting police to cordon off the area to ensure public safety.

Special Operations Unit officers, armed and prepared, were summoned to the location. The suspect, identified only as Mr. O, a 39-year-old garage owner, was detained without resistance while seated in a sedan in front of the garage, according to the Wichit Police.

Upon searching the garage, authorities discovered four firearms. Mr. O held valid licenses for three of these weapons, while the fourth was registered to another individual.

Mr. O was escorted to the Wichit Police Station, where he tested positive for methamphetamine use. He now faces multiple charges, including unauthorized firearm possession, carrying a firearm in public without a valid reason, discharging a firearm in public, and methamphetamine consumption.
