Chumphon –

A Thai Youtuber and his team were fined 5,000 Baht each after they drove a sedan on a beach in the Lang Suan district.

A Thai Youtuber who has more than 14 million subscribers posted the video content this week. He and his team drove the sedan on a beach in Pak Nam for viral content but the sedan became stuck in the sand and they were helped by local residents to pull the sedan out of the sand with a pickup truck. Many teenagers took photos with the YouTubers during the incident.

The Pak Nam Lang Suan Police, who did not find the viral stunt humorous, revealed that four people from the Youtube channel presented themselves to the police. They were identified only as Mr. Tongchai, 28, Mr. Prommet, 27, Mr. Sanhawat, 24 and Mr. Sangjar, 22. They told police they drove the sedan on the beach to make content for the channel.

They were charged with causing public trouble or an annoyance and they were fined 5000 Baht each, or about 150 US dollars.

The Phuket Express notes that the Youtubers also publicly apologized for the stunt.
