Indian Man Arrested for Theft in Patong

An Indian man was arrested for theft at a shopping mall in Patong on Sunday (May 26th).

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that at 9:30 P.M. on the day in question they arrested an Indian man after he was caught by citizens at a shopping mall on the Ratcha Uthit Road in Patong. He was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of night theft.

The Phuket Express noted the Patong Police did not reveal details of the Indian man and what he stole, although a photo provided appeared to show a large variety of items possibly having been concealed in a backpack.
