Woman Arrested in Soi Ta-iad with 1.12 Kg of Crystal Methamphetamine, 900 grams of Cocaine, and 63 Ecstasy Pills

A 25 year-old woman from Chiang Rai was arrested in the famous Muay Thai street, Soi Ta-iad with 1.12 Kg of Crystal Methamphetamine, 938 grams of cocaine and 63 pills of ecstasy.

The Chalong Police told the Phuket Express that on Tuesday (May 21st) they arrested Mrs. Su (alias), 25, from Chiang Rai. Seized from her were 1.12 Kg of Crystal Methamphetamine, 938.73 grams of cocaine, and 63 pills of ecstasy. She was arrested on a roadside in Soi Ta-iad.

The Chalong Police told the Phuket Express that Mrs. Su and her boyfriend were selling cocaine and ecstasy to foreigners in the area. They operated a sting operation but her boyfriend escaped.

She was taken to the Chalong Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of category 2 drugs (cocaine) with intent to sell and illegal possession of category 1 drugs (crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy) with intent to sell.
