Patong-

In a heartbreaking incident in Patong, a five-year-old girl from Israel lost her life following a fall from a Tuk Tuk taxi, which was subsequently followed by her being struck by another vehicle.

The Patong Police were alerted to the tragic event at approximately 10:40 P.M. on Thursday, May 16th, and promptly responded by arriving at Patong Hospital, where the victim had been taken.

According to the parents of the child, who are tourists from Israel, they were traveling with their daughter in a Tuk Tuk taxi en route to their hotel in Patong when the accident occurred.

The driver of the Tuk Tuk, identified only as Mr. Boonyang, reported to the authorities that he was compelled to execute an abrupt stop due to a pedestrian crossing the road on Taweewong Road, which led to the unfortunate series of events.

The parents recounted to the police that their daughter fell from the Tuk Tuk and was then tragically run over by an oncoming vehicle from behind, leaving her unconscious. She was immediately transported to a nearby hospital by the Tuk Tuk driver, where she was later pronounced dead.

The Patong Police have initiated a thorough investigation into the incident and are in the process of exploring taking further legal action against the TukTuk driver. The name of the victim and her family were withheld for their privacy.
