Chinese Woman Seriously Injured after Sedan Plunges Into Her Motorbike in Patong

In Patong, a Chinese motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after being thrown down a hill when a sedan collided with her motorbike and a construction site. Additionally, a Myanmar construction worker was injured in the accident.

The emergency services were alerted to the crash, which occurred shortly after noon on Friday, May 10th, on Muean Ngern Road in Patong. Upon arrival, they discovered a sedan that had crashed into a construction vehicle parked by the roadside. The motorbike involved was severely damaged and found nearby.

The motorcyclist, a Chinese woman, was located down the hill from the road, having sustained significant injuries. A Myanmar man working at the construction site also suffered various injuries. The sedan’s driver, a Thai woman, received minor injuries. All injured parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

According to witnesses, the sedan appeared to be unable to decelerate while descending the hill, subsequently losing control and veering into the opposite lane, where it struck the motorbike and the construction worker.
