Three Out of 270 Migrant Workers Found to be Illegal at Three Construction Sites in Rawai

On Wednesday (May 8th) authorities arrested three illegal migrant workers out of 270 during inspections at three construction sites in Rawai.

The Phuket Provincial Administrative Office conducted checks at three construction sites in the Baan Bang Khon tee, Rawai from 9:30 A.M.. A total of 270 documents related to migrant workers were reviewed.

Three Myanmar workers were found to be illegal for offences including staying in the country without proper authorization and working without the necessary permits. They were taken to the Chalong Police Station.

It is unclear if the employers will face any legal action.
