57-Year-Old Thai Man Dies After Motorbike Crash in Chalong

A 57-year-old Thai motorbike rider has been pronounced dead at the scene after a motorbike crash in Chalong.

The Chalong Police were notified of the accident on Sunday (April 21st) on the Chao Fa West Road near the Wat Chalong School. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the rider, identified as Mr. Uthai Yadee, 57. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Nearby, rescue teams found his damaged motorbike and a helmet lying in front of the power pole.

Local residents nearby told Chalong police that they heard a loud crashing noise which caused them to call law enforcement. At this stage, the Chalong Police believe that Uthai lost control of his motorbike at the curve before crashing into the power pole.

There was no CCTV camera at the scene, notes The Phuket Express.
