Two Nigerian Men Arrested in Phuket for Allegedly Selling Cocaine

Two Nigerian men were arrested in Karon on Friday (April 12th) for allegedly selling cocaine.

The Phuket Tourist Police told the Phuket Express that they arrested Mr. Harrison Chinnonso Onyema, 40 and Mr. Ogadinma Promise Onyema, 41, both Nigerian nationals. They were arrested at a parking area of a hotel on the Kata Road in Karon.

They were taken to the Karon Police Station to face the charge of selling illegal category 2 drugs (cocaine). Mr. Harrison is also facing an additional charge of illegally entering and staying in the Kingdom of Thailand.

The two suspects plea to the charges or statements was not released to the press.
