Taiwanese media reported that the magnitude 7.3 earthquake was Taiwan’s most powerful in 25 years, causing nine casualties and more than 1,011 injured. No Thai casualties or injuries were reported from the Thailand Trade and Economic Office (Taipei).

Mueang Kanchanaburi police officers inspected an abandoned house and found a group of more than 123 individuals illegally crossing the Thai border to seek jobs in Thailand.

5. Massive Drug Seizure in Northwest Thailand: Over 13 Million Meth Pills Seized in One Day.
Pha Mueang officers seized more than 13 million pills of amphetamine with an estimated value of 14.6 billion baht on the same day in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.
