A fire has damaged a tour boat near a pier in the Thai Mueang district on Tuesday (April 2nd).
The Royal Thai Navy Third Area Command told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the fire at 6:30 P.M. near a pier in Thap Lamu. They arrived at the scene with a boat equipped with fire suppression equipment to find the fire was heavily ablaze before the fire was brought under control.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the Forensic Police as of press time.
