On March 23rd, 2024, Surat Thani local media reported a large number of foreign tourists ferry traveling to Koh Phangan and Koh Samui to attend the Full Moon Party on March 24th on Haad Rin Beach.
Meanwhile, a flux of foreign tourists traveled to Koh Phangan and reserved hotel rooms and resorts in advance to participate in the Full Moon Party, according to Surat Thani reporters.
Mr. Manop Saetiao, the advisor to Koh Phangan Tourism Promotion Association, publicly revealed the estimated number of foreign tourists attending the third Full Moon Party was 7,000 to 10,000 individuals.
It was reported that many tourists also visited Koh Phangan and Koh Samui daily, and tourism would be more lively during the Full Moon Party, according to the advisor to Koh Phangan Tourism Promotion Association.
