Koh Phangan Police Raid Polish Yoga Center Amidst Allegations of Sexual Misconduct

At 3:30 PM, on March 23rd, 2024, Koh Phangan tourist police and relevant agencies launched an inspection of a yoga centre after receiving a complaint from locals regarding a foreigner holding yoga classes appearing to be causing sexual misconduct and having viral and controversial published videos on social media in Koh Phangan, Surat Thani.

Upon the Koh Phangan police investigation, a group of foreigners were found participating in a yoga class at the reported location. The group of foreigners reportedly showed signs of anxiousness and panic, and some of them attempted to flee from the police.

According to the Koh Phangan police report, the owner of the place was identified only as Mr. Michal, a 46-year-old Polish national. Michal told the police that he established the yoga institute with various classes of yoga.

According to Thai national media, Michal was a famous YouTuber who teaches yoga and lifestyle vlogs.

However, the Koh Phangan police found two objects resembling male genitalia at the yoga institute as Michal reportedly told the police that they were used as teaching equipment for yoga classes. The police confiscated the alien objects as evidence.

Initially, the Koh Phangan police interrogated Michal, the declared owner of the establishment, and discovered that Michal had no work permit. The police then escorted Michal to the Koh Phangan police station for further legal processing and were considering revoking his visa.
