Phuket –

A Chinese man was arrested at a luxury villa in Pa Klok for 653 days of overstay.

Phuket Immigration told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they arrested a suspect identified only as Mr. Tian, 38, a Chinese national, at a luxury villa near the Yamu Beach in Pa Klok, Thalang.

Mr. Tian had entered Phuket with only a 60 days tourist visa. He admitted to police that he knew he overstayed but did not give a reason for the long overstay. Mr. Tian was taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of overstaying his visa.
