A young teenage motorbike rider was arrested in possession of a pen gun in Rawai.
The Chalong Police told the Phuket Express that late last week they were patrolling in Rawai when they spotted a male teenager who was riding on a modified motorbike. They asked him to stop near the Sai Yuan Intersection on the Wiset Road.
Police searched the 16 year old teenager and they found a handmade pen gun with a .38 bullet. He was taken to the Chalong Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of a fire arm and ammunition and for carrying a gun in pubic without permission.
The suspect’s name was not given to the press due to his age.
