Krabi Boat Driver Arrested with 16 Meth Pills

Krabi –

A boat driver in Krabi was arrested with 16 methamphetamine pills at a pier in Ao Nang, Krabi City, on Thursday (March 14th).

The Krabi Marine Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they randomly inspected a pier at a beach in the Ao Nang sub-district. One of the male long tail tour boat drivers reportedly looked suspicious when he saw police.

Police checked his long tail boat where they found 16 methamphetamine pills hidden on his boat. He admitted to police that the drugs belonged to him. He was taken to the Ao Nang Police Station for further legal action.

The name and age of the suspect, however, were not released by Ao Nang police.
