Chinese Man Arrested at Phuket Airport For Allegedly Not Paying a Staff Member

A Chinese man was arrested at Phuket International airport after he allegedly did not pay an employee of his in Patong.

The Phuket Immigration told the Phuket Express that this week they arrested the wanted suspect, a 49 years old Chinese man, he was arrested at the International Departures Terminal in the airport while he was trying to leave Phuket.

He is being accused of not paying a salary to an employee and breaking Thai employment laws. He was taken to the Patong Police Station for further legal action. The Phuket Express noted that Phuket Immigration did not release his name or more details about the case in Patong.
