British Man Detained at Phuket Airport For Allegedly Drunk Driving Causing a Death on Samui Island

A British man, who was wanted by authorities, has been apprehended at the Phuket International Airport. He is suspected of a drunk driving road accident that resulted in a death on Samui Island.

Phuket Immigration confirmed the arrest on Tuesday (March 5th), in which the unidentified 30 -year-old male British wanted suspect was taken into custody at the international arrival terminal of the Phuket International Airport.

The suspect is the subject of an arrest warrant related to drunk driving on a motorbike causing alleged death and damages. He has been transported to the Bo Phut Police Station on Samui Island.

Despite the arrest, Phuket Immigration has not disclosed the suspect’s name or provided more details about the specific road incident. Additionally, the British man has not issued a statement regarding the allegations.
