A father has been pronounced dead at the scene while his 12-year-old daughter has survived after a truck tumbled down a hill in Karon.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 7:00 P.M. in Soi Patak 12 on the Patak Road on Karon Hill.

They arrived at the scene to find the truck which was carrying a crane down the hill. The driver, identified only as Mr. Akkadet, 43, from Kanchanaburi, was found dead outside near the truck. His passenger, an unidentified 12-year-old daughter, had sustained minor injuries.
