American Man Found with Bullet Arrested at Phuket Airport

Phuket –

An American man was arrested with a bullet at the Phuket International Airport.

The Sakoo Police told the Phuket Express that on Thursday (February 29th) they were notified from the Phuket International Airport that a staffer at an x-ray machine was screening passengers’ bags and luggage at the international terminal and found a bullet inside a foreign passenger’s luggage.

The luggage owner, who is an American man, agreed to let airport security staffers search inside his luggage. Inside the luggage found a single bullet, a shotgun shell. The American man was then taken to the Sakoo Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of ammunition.

The American man was not identified by Sakoo police by name and he did not release a statement about the bullet.
