Phang Nga –
Thirty two baby leatherback sea turtles hatched on a beach and went back into the sea in Thai Mueang district.
The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR) told the Phuket Express this week that 32 baby leatherback sea turtles had hatched from a nest on a beach in the Khao Lampi Hat Thai Mueang National Park area.
The baby turtles then rushed to their new home in the sea. The mother leatherback sea turtle had laid her eggs in December of last year.
