The Phuket International Airport has announced that they held a fire practice which included a significant amount of smoke as part of the drill.
The drill on Thursday (February 22nd) was near Runway 27. During the practice, a large amount of smoke was sent into the air around the airport. The airport staff apologized for the inconvenience.
