Unidentified Body Found at Beach in Thalang, Phuket

An unidentified body was found at a beach in Cherng Talay.

Rescue divers were notified of a body being found at 3:00 P.M. on Friday (February 16th) on the Surin Beach near Soi 8. They arrived at the scene to find a male body at the beach. No identification was found with the body.

The body was recovered from the beach before being taken to a local hospital for an identification the Cherng Talay Police told the Phuket Express.

Earlier this week on February 12th the Cherng Talay Police were notified from a fishing boat captain that a boat crew member fell from their fishing boat into the sea and had gone missing. Police have yet to confirm if the body was the same missing person.
