Baraku Seized from Bar in Thalang

A bar manager was arrested with four sets of Baraku, also known as Shisha, at a bar in Cherng Talay.

The Thalang District Officers raided an unidentified bar in Cherng Talay. Many foreign customers were found using Baraku. The bar manager was arrested with four sets of Baraku seized. He was then taken to the Cherng Talay Police Station.

He is facing charges of possession of unpaid tax tobacco, and illegally selling forbidden imported items (Baraku and e-cigarettes). The name of the bar manager and the bar was not released by officers. Shisha, or Baraku, is illegal in Thailand.
