Fifty Two Baby Leatherback Sea Turtles Hatch on Phang Nga Beach

Phang Nga –

Fifty two baby leatherback sea turtles hatched on a beach and went back into the sea in the Thai Mueang district.

The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR) told the Phuket Express this week that 52 baby leatherback sea turtles had hatched from a nest on Tha Rai Beach.

The baby turtles then rushed to their new home in the sea. The mother leatherback sea turtle had laid her eggs in December of last year.
