Unidentified Female Rider Dies After Motorbike Accident in Rawai

An unidentified female rider died after a motorbike accident in Rawai.

The Chalong Police were notified of the accident at 4:40 A.M. today, February 7th, 2024, on the Sai Yuan Road at the entrance of Soi Saturday in Rawai. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the motorbike on the footpath slammed into a power pole. Nearby the first responders found the body of an unidentified female rider.

Police believed that the woman worked at a bar in Rawai but no identification documents were found with her. Her body was taken to a local hospital for identification. Police are checking CCTV footage nearby to find the exact cause of the accident.
