A female foreign tourist was allegedly molested by a man inside a toilet at Phuket Bus Terminal.
The Phuket City Police were notified by a Good Samaritan of the incident at 5:00 A.M. on Wednesday (January 31st) at the new Phuket Bus Terminal on Thep Krasattri Road in the Rassada sub-district, Mueang Phuket.
Police arrived at the scene to find the unidentified good Samaritan. A foreign tourist had asked him for help. The tourist said that a man had entered the women’s toilet and tried to molest her.
CCTV footage taken at the scene shows a monk running to the toilet after he heard someone screaming for help. A man with a towel came out before the unidentified female foreign tourist ran out.
Police said that the man was a member of staff at a bus company and they are searching for him. However, the monk and the tourist were not at the scene when police arrived. The tourist had already reportedly left heading to Phan Ngan Island in Surat Thani but police were trying to track her down to speak with her.
