Suspect Arrested with 2,417 Meth Pills in Thalang

A man was arrested with 2,417 methamphetamine pills and a gun in Thalang.

The Thalang Police told the Phuket Express that over the past weekend they arrested a suspect identified only as Mr. Chalermsak, 33, from Phang Nga. He was arrested on the Pru Sampan Road in the Thep Krasattri sub-district.

Seized from him were 2,417 methamphetamine pills, a handgun, and 29 bullets. He was taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, and carrying gun in public without permission.
