Body Found Floating Near Island in Phang Nga

A body was found floating near an island in the Khuri Buri district.

The Royal Thai Navy told the Phuket Express that on Friday (January 19th) they were notified from a fishing boat captain that he and his crew found an Asian male body floating shirtless in the sea neat the Ra Island. The body was recovered and taken back to a local hospital for identification.

Meanwhile, a Myanmar boat crew member had been reported missing in the sea after falling from a fishing boat earlier this week but it was not yet positive if the body was the missing man.
