Man Arrested with 15,000 Meth Pills in Chalong

A 30 year old man was arrested with 15,000 methamphetamine pills and crystal methamphetamine in Chalong.

The Border Patrol Police 425 told the Phuket Express that on Tuesday (January 16th) they arrested a man identified only as Mr. Pond, 30, from Chalong. Seized from him were 257.9 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 15,000 methamphetamine pills. He was arrested at the entrance of Soi Tanuthep on the Chao Fa West Road.

He was taken to the Chalong Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of category 1 drugs with intent to sell.
