Danish Woman Injured by Waves in Phang Nga

Phang Nga –

A Danish tourist has sustained injuries after she was hit by waves at a beach in Phang Nga.

The Khao Lampi Hat Thai Mueang National Park staff told the Phuket Express earlier this week that they were notified of the incident at the Tha Mao Beach in the national park area.

An unidentified 60 year-old female Danish tourist was playing in the water. She turned her back to the sea before being hit by big waves and was dragged down to the sand underwater but managed to surface and get to shore. She has sustained pain to her neck and back and was taken to a nearby hospital.
