Thalang –

A man threatened his neighbor with a gun after a fight in the Thalang district.

The Thalang Police were notified of the incident early in the morning on Thursday (January 11th) at a house in the Pa Klok sub-district.

Police arrived at the scene to find Mr. Wittawat Atisutthapot, 49, who was heavily intoxicated. A nearby house had been damaged in a way that indicated a fight had taken place, stated the police.

Mr. Anucha Ngorsurachet, 63, and Mr. Sampan Pengjan, 38, had both sustained injuries from the physical altercation. They told police that after the fight, Mr. Wittawat said he was going to fetch a gun. Five minutes later a gun shot sound was heard nearby.

Police found a handgun in Mr. Wittawat’s home and he was taken to Thalang Police Station for further investigation. It was unclear why the group of men were fighting, notes The Phuket Express.
