Six People Injured After Bus Crash in Nakhon Si Thammarat

Six people have sustained injuries after a bus crash in the Thung Song district.

The Thung Song Police were notified of the accident on Sunday night (January 7th) on the main Asia 41 Road in the Nong Hong sub-district. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the overturned bus near a school.

Six injured individuals were found amongst the people inside the bus. They were taken to a nearby hospital.

Other passengers who were not injured told associated Thai media that the passenger bus was traveling from Bangkok heading to the south of Thailand. The bus driver reportedly suddenly lost control just before the crash.

As of press time, details were still limited and neither the name of the driver nor the passengers had been released to the Thai media.

The accident was reportedly under investigation by both the bus company and law enforcement. A statement from the bus driver was also being gathered by police.
